SHEEP Hills Silos provided a dramatic backdrop for Malaysia Airlines representatives as they toured the region on Friday.
The Airlines is creating an advertising package and conducted photo shoots at various sites throughout the state.
The Airline supported by by Tourism Australia, Visit Victoria, Grampians Tourism and Yarriambiack Shire Council conducted shoot of a mock picnic in front of the iconic silos.
“It was a great deal of fun for everyone,” Community Development Officer for Yarriambiack Shire, Marianne Ferguson said.
Following the fun of the photo shoot, the group were treated to a magnificent meal in the Town Hall which show-cased local food as much as possible, particularly the variety of grains grown in the area.
It is hoped the photo-shoot conducted will take pride of place in forthcoming Malaysian Airlines advertising.
The day highlights just how significant the Silo Art Trail has become to the state’s tourism.
