Car lovers and motorsport enthusiasts from across Australia will descend on Rainbow for the second Hindmarsh Shire Rainbow Desert Enduro from August 10, to 12.

The Friday night will see the race cars undergo scrutineering in the main street of Rainbow, with a party atmosphere, with many food stalls dotted along the street to keep visitors fed with music from local bands, providing entertainment throughout the evening and a jumping castle to keep the kids entertained.

The action on Saturday will move to the Bow Hill site, located less than a kilometre from the town to the west, where the cars will sort out their starting positions with a prologue and top ten shootout.

After a short break, the main event will kick off from 2pm with the cars racing around the 75 kilometre track twice.

There will be full catering options available, as well as the optimum viewing site of the track.

Sunday morning will see day two of the race kick off at 9am with drivers and navigators showing off their skills on the track by completing five laps.

The main event will be completed by mid-afternoon. Entry into the event is $15.00 for the two days, and is well worth a visit for car enthusiasts and novices alike.
