A SMOKIN’ good time was had by all who attended
the 2018 BBQ Battle at the Creekside Hotel over the weekend.

With the wafting of BBQ aromas filtering through the bush,crowds spilled out of the site when they came to have a look and take part in the activities, making the most of the weather and great atmosphere of the event to take sample some good old fashioned BBQ.

For the first time, Warracknabeal had its own team to cheer on, the Woodbine Smokers, who entered several categories during the course of the weekend.

The fun and revelry resounded from the creek with not only food on offer, but live music and other activities providing something for all the family to enjoy.

“A fantastic crowd came to enjoy the battle of the barbie as well as the enjoy the live entertainment, and the fantastic breakfasts on offer during the weekend,” Creekside Hotelowner, Sally Gebert said.
