Ararat complete perfect regular season.
Despite a promising start, Ararat defeated Nhill on Saturday by 56 points.

In doing so, the favourites for the premiership secured a clean sweep for the season, not dropping a game all year.
Nhill got the jump on their opposition, up by a couple of goals at the end of the first quarter, but by half-time Ararat had control of the game, leading by 20 points.
Both sides scored a couple of goals after the big break, with the scores going into the final quarter 9.11 (65) to 6.5 (41) Ararat's way.
Ararat levelled up again in the last quarter, adding 6.4 to their score, while Nhill could only manage 1.2.
Final scores were 15.15 (105) to 7.7 (49).
For the ladder leaders and minor premiers, Ben Taylor and Cody Lindsay were best on ground, with Taylor booting four majors.
For Nhill, Jake McQueen and Liam Albrecht were in form, with Drew Schneider the leading goal scorer for the side with three.
As Ararat finished as minor premiers they will now have a break for the first week of finals before lining up against the winner of Nhill and the Thunder, who will contest the qualifying final at Dimboola on Saturday.
