Noradjuha Quantong can finish the season 15-1 with a final round win over Kalkee.

The Bombers secured the minor premiership with a 98-60 victory over Laharum in round 17, meaning this Saturday will be their last game before their semi-final clash in more than two weeks' time.

They host a Kalkee team that have challenged some of the top teams in recent weeks although they have been unable to deliver a victory.

This includes a 48-36 loss to Pimpinio and a 93-47 defeat to Kaniva Leeor after the two sides were level at half-time.

The two teams last met in round seven, with the Bombers producing a 135-33 victory, but not before Kalkee led through most of the first half.

Producing a complete four-quarter effort has been one of the challenges for Kalkee but the young side will be determined to finish the season well and challenge the league leaders.

Damian Cameron, coach of Noradjuha Quantong, says the focus on the next few weeks will be to have the side mentally and physically prepared for finals, acknowledging how important the game against Kalkee is for the preparation.

“This week we'll do a bit of team bonding and then make sure we put up a good side going into Kalkee,” Cameron said.

“We want to play a good game of footy because it will be our last prep going into finals.”
