Bombers' season opener worth the wait
Noradjuha Quantong’s impressive 134-point win against Rupanyup has piqued the interest of many across the league.

The Bombers booted 27.12 (174) to 6.4 (40), with Judah Hobbs doing the bulk of the damage, kicking eight goals for the hosts.
It was a tight contest from the first bounce, with only a point separating the sides at the first break.
However, Noradjuha Quantong’s strong preseason came to the surface as they kicked seven goals in the second quarter.
The Bombers upped the ante after halftime, kicking 10 majors while keeping the Panthers goalless in the third quarter.
While Rupanyup were able to add two goals in the final term, Noradjuha Quantong piled on the goals, kicking 10 more in front of an appreciative crowd.
Jye Walter, in his first game back in the red and black, booted five goals and was named best on the ground for the Bombers.
Meanwhile, Levi Mock and Brock Orval added four each.
Mock was named in the Bombers' best, with Leigh Stewart, Hobbs, Jack Vague and Dylan Shelley.
Blake Turner was the lone multiple goal scorer for the Panthers with four, while Daniel Weetra, Cam Western and Jimmy Finnigan were some of Rupanyup's best.
