Students from diverse cultural backgrounds proudly wore traditional clothing, representing their heritage.

Students shared presentations about their cultural background, teaching their peers about important traditions and ways of life.

The celebrations also included students showcasing a dance from their culture.

There was a wonderful sense of connection as the students clapped and cheered their peers after each presentation.

Following this, the school community attended Mass, where the focus was on St Joseph and Harmony Week.

In the Gospels, Joseph is known as a man of deep faith, humility and courage.

Just as Joseph created a safe and welcoming home for his family, the students and staff of St Joseph’s School are called to create classrooms and playgrounds where everyone feels valued, respected and included.

By embracing the gifts and traditions that each person brings, we strengthen the sense of belonging that lies at the heart of both our faith and Harmony Week.

The day concluded with students and families sharing in a multicultural feast.

A variety of delicious dishes were shared from Indian, Pilipino and the Solomon Islands cuisine.

The shared meal was a true highlight, symbolising unity, generosity, and the joy of coming together.
