Mark Gunning from District 17 presented service awards at the event recognising firefighters and auxiliary members for their years of service to the community.

Ian McLean marked an incredible milestone by reaching 55 years of service.

Neil Adams achieved 45 years, while Damien Maher, who was absent, earned recognition for 40 years but received his award later from Warracknabeal CFA captain Cameron Whelan on brigade meeting night.

Corey Bentley was also absent from the event and received an award of 25 years of service from the Warracknabeal captain on Tuesday February 4 at a brigade training night.

Peter Orszulak completed 15 years of service, while Tim Jeffries (auxiliary) reached 10 years.

Cody Polack, Isabella Orszulak, Rohan Richards and Mill Jonasson each achieved five years of service.

The CFA recognises its members' dedication through service awards.

After five years, members receive a certificate signed by the assistant chief fire officer.

At the 10-year mark, they earn a medal, ribbon bar and lapel pin.

Every additional five years they receive an updated medal, ribbon bar and lapel pin reflecting their continued service.

Warracknabeal CFA members play a vital role in protecting the community.

Their dedication ensures public safety, and their service inspires the next generation of firefighters.
