Coach leads Edenhope to victory
A 35-goal haul from coach Lavinia Fox set up Edenhope for a comfortable win in their clash with Pimpinio in round one of the Horsham District Football Netball League on Saturday.

Edenhope claimed the win 59 to 44, with the goal attack coach in Fox being named best on court, along with goal shooter Mereana Crawford.
For Pimpinio, goal attack Tahlia Thompson and wing attack Jayde Ellis were the better players.
The gap by Edenhope was stable up until the last quarter, ranging between eight and 10 goals, before the side had a strong final term, furthering their lead.
"I think we had a really strong opening quarter, which was pleasing, and we were able to keep Pimpinio to single didgits, which reflects our defensive efforts," Fox said.
"I was proud of Mia McCrann-Peters and Rebecca Peters and how they combined down that end.
"I think from that point on though, Pimpinio's last three quarters were competitive and it was a tightly contested game.
"Hats off to them.
"They brought it to us and we had to respond to make sure we could get the win."
Fox said fitness had been a big emphasis in the pre-season and it allowed her team to run the game out on Saturday.
"We started back in January and our girls have been consistent, but our goal for the game is to be consistent for the four quarters and I think on Saturday we delivered with that and by that last quarter we were looking after the ball and being rewarded when we got an intercept," she said.
And depsite her best-on-court performance, Fox was quick to credit her team-mates for their part.
"You have to have good people around you to do well yourself and I was fed the ball well," she said.
"Hayley (Campbell) was feeding me the ball well and I was pleased with how we were combining with Mereana Crawford, who is a new player for us this season in A grade.
"She was able to open the space up for me and I was happy to be able to get the volume of goals and follow through for the team."
