Consistency the key for Minyip-Murtoa as they look to return to finals netball
Just missing out on finals last season was devastating for the players of the Minyip Murtoa netball senior side.

It's meant a big focus of preseason has been concentrating on consistency in both attack and defence, according to coach Kristy Davidson.
"Particularly in the crunch moments of the game, we've been working on the connection between the group and implementing a game plan that suits the versatility of the players," Davidson said.
"The girls have put in a solid pre-season with a strong focus on match fitness and team dynamics and are looking forward to round one."
The Burras may have lost last season's best and fairest in Tamika Mentha, but have retained runner up Claudia Griffiths, along with her sister Johanna.
"This year we are looking at a semi new line up, with an even mix of exciting talent from last year, juniors ready to step up and some netball savvy mums returning to the game," Davidson said.
"It is a great mix of youth, talent and experience, which makes for an exciting season ahead."
The coach said she was excited to have the Griffiths girls back, with their agility and speed around the court an asset.
"We expect them to be key players for the season," Davidson said.
"The Wilson girls (Lili and Ruby) stepping up from juniors will provide some depth to both ends of the court and we look forward to seeing the impact they can make in the senior ranks.
"(Jessie) Newell, (Sheridan) Fisher and (Stacey) Arnold all return after a few seasons on the side lines and the experience and leadership they bring to the line up is both exciting and invaluable.
"(Lucy) Brand and (Lauren) Dodgshun are both crucial players to the team and are both solid and reliable at their respective ends of the court while (Claire) Mackay brings some exciting versatility to the group and we look forward to seeing her shine in different positions throughout the season."
Davidson said the energy was positive in the group and players were incredibly motivated to improve on last season's result.
"We’re looking forward to the upcoming season with a lot of confidence and optimism," she said.
