Council meeting dates set
In 2025 Horsham Rural City Council will continue meeting on the fourth Monday of the month with a couple of exceptions.
At its December meeting on Monday, council confirmed its scheduled meeting dates for the coming 12 months.
The exceptions will occur in January, when councillors will meet on Tuesday January 27 as the fourth Monday will be the Australia Day public holiday, and December, when the meeting will be brought forward to December 15 to allow business to be dealt with before Christmas.
The next mayoral election will be held in a statutory meeting on Thursday November 27.
The full list of meeting dates for the coming year is:
- Tuesday January 28
- Monday February 24
- Monday March 24
- Monday April 28
- Monday May 26
- Monday June 23
- Monday July 28
- Monday August 25
- Monday September 22
- Monday October 27
- Monday November 24
- Thursday November 27 (statutory meeting
- Monday December 15.
All will start at 5.30pm.
The agenda for each meeting is traditionally published on Horsham Rural City's website at 5pm on the preceding Thursday.
Questions from ratepayers can be submitted to council in writing until 10am on the day of a monthly meeting.
