Project officer Rhonda Allan said the tennis club generously provided a great venue and equipment and the school continued its support of all-abilities physical activities in 2025.

"During the year the staff and students have assisted with the facilitation and encouraging the participants during the various sporting activities," Allan said.

Allan said the final four-week program was conducted at Donald Lawn Tennis Club, during which time she liaised with club member Stuart Potter.

"This has allowed people of all abilities to enjoy the opportunity to have an informal hit of tennis on the magnificent lawn tennis courts in Donald," Allan said.

"We all thank the club for their wonderful and continued support to all abilities tennis programs."

She said participants attended from McCallum Day Services at St Arnaud and Woodbine at Warracknabeal and Donald.

"Overall, over 50 people have been involved/participated, which is excellent," Allan said.

"Apart from the third week, the weather was ideal for the outdoor program activities.

"Everyone had fun both physically and socially and that’s what it’s all about."

Allan attended the final session and presented two certificates of appreciation to Donald High School staff member Anthony Tatchell: one for the club and the other for the school for its continued support of inclusive sport and recreation for all levels of abilities.

"It was much appreciated by all," she said.

Allan said the program was an initiative of the Access for All Abilities program funded by Sport & Recreation of Victoria.
