Farmhouse cafe clean-up resumes
Months after a devastating fire burnt down Horsham's Farmhouse Providore and Cafe and damaged neighbouring business Exquist in Firebrace Street, the cleanup continues, with removal of the remaining debris having begun on Monday.

Fire damage on the rear of the cafe.
Flames erupted from the business on October 9.
Ten units from CFA Horsham and Warracknabeal and Fire Rescue Victoria fought to contain the fire.
CFA District 17 assistant chief fire officer Mark Gunning said the first storey of the building was already “well alight” when emergency services arrived and that the fire was burning through the roof.
With the remaining debris known to contain asbestos, the site was well watered down and a hygienist was present to monitor the works this week.
