Ms Turnbull recently celebrated her 90th birthday with her family and friends.

Ms Turnbull spoke of how she joined the former Beulah Methodist Ladies Guild when she left school and was a member for over 70 years.

Ms Turnbull has held numerous positions in the Methodist Guild and later in the Uniting Church Fellowship.

Ms Turnbull has always had an interest in the history of the Methodist/Uniting Church and the Guild/Fellowship and was instrumental in producing the booklet, ‘100 YEARS ON 1910-2010’ for the hundred-year celebrations of the opening of the Church in 2010.

An enjoyable time was had sharing with Ms Turnbull, with the staff providing a lovely afternoon tea and a welcome cuppa.
