From Mic Drop to Tooth Drop
MAN IN THE CORNER: In a tale that proves truth is stranger than fiction, a young Horsham man’s impromptu rap performance took a literal bite out of his budding music career.
After a weekend of revelry, a young man found himself in the early hours of Monday morning, wine bottle in hand, channeling his inner rap god.
What began as a solo karaoke session quickly escalated into a full-blown performance.
The makeshift microphone - a wine bottle - was wielded with such enthusiasm that the young man managed to chip four of his front teeth mid-verse.
Attending dentist a few days later the inevitable question was asked of him, "How did this happen?"
As the young man recounted his impromptu rap session, he realised the absurdity of the situation.
While his rap career may have taken a hit, the young man remains in good spirits.
As for the wine bottle?
It's been retired from stage duty, now serving as a reminder that sometimes, it's best to leave the rapping to the professionals.
