Horsham Primary School has welcomed a new group of Prep students to both the 298 and Rasmussen campuses.

Rasmussen has 20 Prep students all taught by Miss Dossett while 298 has a total of 60 students enrolled this year split between three classrooms.

While navigating the big change, Prep students take part in the Australian Developmental Curriculum which takes the children's interests into account and promotes creativity through open-ended tasks.

Each classroom is equipped with a reading corner, a writing centre, a dramatic play area, a collage table, a sensory table, an interest table and a construction area.

Principal Chris Walter said the students had had a great start to the school year and couldn't wait to see what it would bring.
