This will end the bowling season in general, before the winter competitions start.

Fourteen teams are required consisting of three bowlers of any combination, having two bowls each, with a chance of picking up a monetary prize of $30 for every game they win. One game of 15 ends before a lunch break, followed by two more games of 15 ends before afternoon tea, all inclusive in the entry.

The field is not full at this stage, with club members hoping to have all outside clubs enjoy a great day of bowls. Sponsored by the Warrnambool Bowls Club, and Golf Bowls Members, over a thousand dollars of cash can be won on the day.

Contact Wayne on 0488 180 870 to secure a spot in this different format.

Golf Bowls also have their presentation night coming up on Friday, May 16 at 6pm, with members receiving their successes in all club events over the past year, along with two plaques to celebrate premiership wins in both grades of Pennant.

President Dawn Walton asks all members to make themselves available.

The final meeting agenda will be the AGM on Sunday, May 25 at 2pm. This first timeline on this day is chosen in hoping all members can attend without excuses, as important decisions have to be made as per future recommendations by the Association, plus committee positions for the next season.

Let’s hope all can attend these meetings so the club can continue to be a success that they have been so far.

Winter bowls at the club will be a talking point in the coming weeks.

Good bowling and good luck.
