The good news is that you still have time to enter your best jams, pickles, flowers, shrubs, baked goods, and artwork.

Entries will be accepted on the Show website until Saturday, September 20, at 11am.

You still have time to whip up a batch of scones or whatever your favourite treat is for the big weekend, so make sure you have your entry in.

Behind the scenes, the wheels have been in motion, preparing the site and the buildings for a huge program of entertainment, catering, bagpipes, midsummer night fairies, dinosaurs, an iron man competition, tarts, artists, stud sheep, gaming, and a side show alley, just to name a few.

Show Society Secretary Andrea Cross has been at the helm since 2015, so she knows what a good show needs, and she is certain that this year there is something for everyone.

The Shed Market promises a storage facility, allowing you to grab a bargain and store it for later pickup.

And for the gaming lovers, more space, room for more players, and an even bigger competition with cash to be won.

In addition to the dinosaur invasion, there'll be an animal nursery, tiny goats, and a stud sheep display.

Service groups and charities also help make this event happen, holding barbeques, working on the gates, and helping clean up.

It's a jam-packed program with a $20,000 investment to bring new and exciting entertainment again this year, all raised through fundraisers, sponsorship, and donations.

Wrestling and swordcraft demonstrations will grab your attention, too.

If the excitement gets a bit much, there is the sensory square to rest and enjoy, especially for those who need a break from the lights and noise.

Organisers are hoping to attract many thousands from the Wimmera and surrounds to this year's event, making it the biggest year yet.

The gates open on Saturday at 5pm with a $10 entry fee for all, except preschoolers, who are admitted free for four hours of fun and excitement.

On Sunday, September 28, gates open from 10am to 10pm with 12 hours of nonstop entertainment, fun, and food.

Admission is $20 for ages 16 and above, $10 for Ages 6-15, and concession and preschoolers 5 and under are free.

To top off the night, fireworks will light up the sky at 8.30pm to finish the two-day show weekend.

Details for entries can be found on www.horshamshow.com.au.
