Racing returns to the Blue Ribbon Raceway this weekend.

The fast-paced action will see a wide variety of nine classes and 91 competitors take to the track on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8.

The featured class will be the Holden V6-powered, open-wheeled Wingless Sprints.

The huge field features 26 competitors, including the best Victorian racers keen to defend home-ground honours.

Some competitors will also come from the Northern Territory and South Australia to join the action.

The other open-wheeled class will also feature the Limited Sportsman, who runs in the opposite direction.

The Sedan fans will also be well served with a dozen Street Stocks - this class is capable of running in both directions, ensuring maximum entertainment for the fans.

Plus, the Modified Sedans and Production Sedans will also be out in force, which will ensure an epic battle of door-to-door combat from Green Flag to Victory Lane.

In addition to the above, the Junior Sedans (1200 SSA, New and Top Stars) and the ever-popular V8 Trucks will all be revving up for the running of the Robin Thomas Memorial (Saturday only), and turning back the hands of time for the sights and sounds of yesteryear will be the Vintage Hot Rods and Sedans.

The gates for Saturday will open at 2pm, with racing starting at the earlier time of 3pm.

Sunday’s spectator gate will open at noon, with action kicking off at 1pm.

We look forward to seeing you there!
