It was Gurry who struck first at Ballarat with Paw Olyslagers, jumping from the awkward box six draw, Olyslagers flew the lids and pounced on the early lead over the 450m journey.

Olyslagers then produced a stellar front running display saluting by five and a half lengths in 25:78sec with Gurry’s second runner in the race Zipping O’Reilly overcoming early rouble to finish third.

Baxter and Parfett-Oliver then followed on the same race card when Let’s Go Out displayed dashing early speed to land on the arm.

From here Let’s Go Out put on a very impressive front running display continuously fighting off challenges greeting the judge first by two lengths in 22:69sec.

Jumping well from the inside draw he mustered up quickly and on turning for home had put the race to bed as he skipped away to win by close to six lengths in a very smart 23.05sec.
