Nhill Airshow returns

Nhill Aerodrome will once again host the region's biggest airshow on Saturday.

Nhill Aerodrome will once again host the region's biggest airshow on Saturday.

Australian aerobatic pilot Paul Bennet and his team will be headlining this year's show, organised by the Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre, with their Sky Aces.

Wolf Pitts Pro, Edge 540, Grumman Avenger, T-28 Trojan, Tiger Moth and CT4 aircraft are among those to feature.

Therew also will be a flypast from members of the Australian Women's Pilots Association, a water bombing display, an appearance from a Vietnam war veteran Cessna 180, and an Australian flag drop.

On the ground there will be displays of military vechicles, classic and vintage cars, a B24 Liberator display from Werribee, photographic display of aviation history of Nhill, an iconic DeLorean, children's activities and more.

Pacific Belles singing group will keep attendees entertained throughout the day and food stalls from local vendors and Tim's Toasties will be on site to cure everyone's hunger.

The Bellman Hangar will host a crafters fair, with demonstrations from 10am-11am and 1pm-2pm.

Adult admission is $40 online and $45 at the gate, concession holders and students are $30 online and $35 at the gate, children aged 7-17 years are $10 online and $15 at the gate.

A family ticket online is $90 and $100 at the gate.

Car parking will be available on site from 8.30am.
