Nominations for multicultural awards now open
The Victorian Multicultural Awards of Excellence are now open for nominations, with locals being encouraged to nominate hardworking individuals and organisations.
The awards honour those who promote inclusion, strengthen community connections, and help build a fair and welcoming Victoria for all, with the awards open to both paid and voluntary contributions.
Winners will be celebrated at a special ceremony later this year.
There are 14 award categories, including Arts, Business and Employment, Emergency Services, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Sport, Youth Leadership, the Multicultural Honour Roll and the Premier's Award for Community Harmony.
Nominations close on August 27.
