Noradjuha Quantong travel to Edenhope

Noradjuha Quantong’s men’s senior football side will look for a repeat of their round four performance against Edenhope Apsley when the two sides meet on Saturday in round 15 of the Horsham District Football Netball League.

Noradjuha-Quantong will be looking to continue its strong momentum when it travels to Edenhope to take on the Saints.

The Bombers got the best of the Saints earlier in the season, winning 154-49 in a home clash, and have carried that form throughout the season, as indicated by their 12-1 record at the top of the ladder.

But Noradjuha Quantong will be playing away against an Edenhope Apsley side with plenty to prove.

The Saints are yet to win a game this season but have been increasingly competitive after the long-weekend break, holding a half-time lead against Kaniva Leeor in round 14 and remaining competitive all game in losses to the Swifts and Pimpinio.

After a slow start to their round 14 game against Natimuk after returning from the bye, Noradjuha Quantong coach Damian Cameron is hoping a more focused approach from the team will be crucial in this week’s game as they approach finals.

“I think our first half from Saturday is a lesson that if we aren’t in the right mindset and are not willing to work hard at our style then we are not the same team that we have worked hard to be,” Cameron said.

“A solid week on the track and finals not far away should be our focus to get back to our best footy.”

Cameron recently re-signed to continue coaching Noradjuha Quantong’s senior football side into 2026 on the back of a 2024 grand finals appearance and a dominant 2025 season to date.
