Thanks for the generosity of local businessman John Parkinson, the Warracknabeal Post Office now has a large clock in the main front foyer.

There has been no clock on the outer facade of the post office since the late 1950s or early '60s when the previous clock possibly wore out.

The area where the clock is now displayed was originally the location of the mail boxes. They are now located on the wall of what was the original telephone exchange.

Former resident Ian Wright has written a history of the Warracknabeal Post Office titled "Everything Comes to Him Who Waits", which is in the process of being printed.

It traces the history of postal services in Warracknabeal from the early beginnings during the Scott Brothers' settlements to the present day.
