Premature announcement
MAN IN THE CORNER: Mark Twain once said, "The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated" after newspapers falsely reported on his death.

Death hoaxes are not new, especially in small towns where the rumour mill can often work faster than actual facts.
So, you can imagine the confusion of Brim Hotel owner Allan Crane when calling a local business.
"Everyone thought I died," he said with a chuckle. "I wasn't even sick."
Fortunately, the Brim Hotel was open over the Easter holiday and welcomed tourists and locals alike for a bumper weekend of trade.
