Recruitment booming for RNH
Rural Northwest Health (RNH) has not only welcomed more than 160 new employees over the past two years but has boosted the local economy as they have settled into the Yarriambiack region with their families.

The leading Wimmera Mallee employer welcomed 166 new employees across its Warracknabeal, Beulah and Hopetoun campuses from January 2023 to March 2025, boosting the organisation’s total staff numbers to 285.
Across the board, the recruitment figures included executive, nursing and nursing management, infection control, clinical education, allied health, quality and risk, maintenance, health and safety, people and culture, and home support roles.
The RNH People and Culture team, in partnership with Horsham firm Latitude Recruitment, welcomed staff from across Australia, and internationally, and RNH is exceptionally pleased to have a multi-cultural workforce.
“Our staff bring with them a diverse range of professional and life skills, culture, and education; both to the organisation and to our region,” RNH CEO Jenni Masters said.
“If you put these figures into perspective, RNH recruited an average of six staff per month.
“What an amazing achievement for a small, rural health organisation to not only attract and recruit such high numbers, but also what a testament to the exceptional reputation RNH has developed as a result of a lot of hard work and building the organisation over the years."
“Happily, this recruitment boom also included the resumption of the popular trainee Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) program which, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our Education team, later appointed three employees after receiving strong interest from a high-quality field of candidates,
“It also included a significant junior recruitment campaign, and the appointment of two additional Associate Nurse Unit Managers (ANUMs) and many additional Registered Nurses,” Ms Masters said.
Latitude Recruitment Consultant Jade Gartside said the organisation is proud to have worked with RNH over the past two years, and to have contributed to such a huge boost in the organisation’s staffing numbers.
“People are the lifeblood of any organisation and nowhere is this more deeply felt than in healthcare,” Ms Gartside said.
“The new employees each play a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of care RNH prides itself on,” she said.
“And they not only serve the community, they become a part of it; shopping at local businesses, enrolling their children in local schools, and bring to the region partners who also have their own unique skillset - all of which adds to the richness of our beautiful area”.
