Rosa plans Aus Day return
Feeling especially proud to be part of the Warracknabeal community in the lead-up to Australia Day?

Warracknabeal's Australia Day celebration will be held at the racecourse again this year, starting with a free hot breakfast and drinks being served from 8am.
At 9am the official program will begin.
Music will be provided by Warracknabeal Men's Shed and Brylie Chivell from Beulah, and local Guides, Cubs, Scouts and Joeys will lead a flag parade.
The officially ceremony starting at 9am will feature presentations to the 2025 Citizen of the Year, Sportsperson of the Year and Young Achiever of the Year.
Guest speaker Matt Rosa will return to his old home town for the day to share where sport and life have taken him since he began his career with Brim Football Club in the 1990s.
After playing 207 games in total with West Coast Eagles and Gold Coast Suns, Rosa transitioned into coaching and player development and is now the AFL talent and operations manager at Essendon Football Club.
Australia Day will be a chance for Warracknabeal to welcome Rosa back and learn about his journey as an adult with wife Hayley and children Otis, Lenny and Mia.
The festivities will be hosted by the Rotary Club of Warracknabeal.
