Rupanyup toasts community champs
Rupanyup gathered on Sunday to honour two residents in particular: citizen of the year Jenny Boyd and young achiever Connor Weidemann.
Members of the town's Australia Day event host, Rupanyup Major Events.
The event, which included a barbecue breakfast starting at 8am, was hosted by Rupanyup Major Events.
And it wasn't only their own community that residents had in mind: attendees were asked to donate a gold coin towards the Grampians' bushfire relief appeal.
