The auxiliary, which aims to raise $50,000 this year to help provide equipment for at-home palliative-care patients, plans to again sell the popular Mother's Day flower in a lead-up to the special day.

Auxiliary member Lee Crammond said the flowers would be on sale in Horsham Plaza from May 6-11 at a cost of $15 a bunch. Sales of chrysanthemums last year raised $4600 for the auxiliary's invaluable cause.

The last fundraiser was a successful afternoon fashion parade which raised $2800.

The event, in Horsham Uniting Church hall, attracted 120 women to view clothes provided by Robyn Anders of Lili Vogue boutique in Horsham's Roberts Avenue.

Models for the day were Bev Reynolds, Rae Hill, Jan Ackland, Liz Galvin and Faye Smith. Margaret Smith and Gaye Eltze won raffle prizes.
