Organised by Dimboola Lions Club and Dimboola Community Bank, the event at the recreation reserve was bustling with activity from morning to night.

Dimboola Good Friday Appeal area manager Debbie Clark said the effort was a success.

"We have been working together on this for the last four months with plenty of ideas being thrown around to make the 2025 event a successful event," Ms Clark said.

"Not knowing what the weather was going to be like is a little concerning and, thankfully, we were blessed with a beautiful day."

Kicking off with the popular Easter egg hunt at the A&P Shed, the day was filled with family friendly activities such as facepainting, a jumping castle and tiny goats.

Dimboola Community Bank branch manager Wayne Anderson said more than 200 children participated in the Easter egg hunt, which was split into three age groups.

"It was a fantastic day and everyone got chocolate," Mr Anderson said.

"The day is all about the money, the children and having an amazing day."

Emergency service vehicles also attended the event, giving out stickers to children.

"They were very popular once again," Mr Anderson said.

A large raffle was also run, prizes being donated by local businesses.

"Over the last three weeks we have run five raffles, the first one being at Steampunk, which raised over $1700," Ms Clark said.

For the first time an evening event was held at the Soundshell with live music by Jeff Woodward and DJ Bunga.

Dimboola Lions Club cooked a barbecue dinner alongside Chris and Ann's Quick Bites.

Mr Anderson said they were delighted with how much the event raised.

"We got a fantastic result from it," he said.

"I personally would like to thank everyone who has helped and supported me through this busy time to make this a successful event," Ms Clark said.

"Congratulations to the Dimboola community.

"What an awesome total you've raised for the special cause."

Statewide, $23,822,792 was raised for the 2025 Good Friday Appeal.

Penny Fowler, chairman of the Good Friday Appeal, said the generosity of regional Victoria was truly inspiring.

"From small towns with big hearts, to major regional centres, communities have united to make a huge difference for sick children and their families," Ms Fowler said.

"Their unwavering support highlights the compassion and dedication of regional volunteers, donors and supporters.

"We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this year’s record-breaking success possible.”
