Steampunk among best in state
THE iconic Wimmera Steampunk Festival has firmly cemented its place in the region’s major attractions, claiming bronze recently in the 2025 Victorian Tourism Awards’ Festivals & Events category.
Perserverance pays off. Standing with the bronze award for Festivals & Events in the 2025 Victorian Tourism Awards is Jamie Ouy, Chan Ouy and Grampians Wimmera Mallee Tourism chair, David Jochinke. The winner was Phillip Island’s Island Whale Festival and runner-up, Adventure Park Geelong's Winter Glow Festival.
