Wimmera PCP opens community grants
Community organisations in the Wimmera and Southern Mallee region can apply for grants of up to $5,000 through the newly established Wimmera Primary Care Partnership (PCP) Health & Wellbeing Fund.

Applications opened on March 17, giving local initiatives a chance to secure funding for health and well-being projects.
The Wimmera PCP Committee of Management created the fund to ensure its work continues benefiting the community.
The fund supports charitable and non-profit organisations focused on mental health, chronic disease prevention, and social inclusion.
The Ballarat Foundation will manage the grant application process.
A local advisory committee will oversee funding decisions to ensure they reflect the needs of the Wimmera Southern Mallee community.
Ballarat Foundation CEO Andrew Eales encouraged organisations to take advantage of the opportunity.
“These grants are a great opportunity for not-for-profit and community organisations to obtain funding for projects which improve the lives of people in Horsham and the Wimmera.
“This is a community-led fund which creates a substantial legacy in the Wimmera, and our foundation is proud to help administer the grants process.”
An online information session on Thursday, March 20, from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM, will provide more details for applicants.
Community organisations can find the grant guidelines and application form at ballaratfoundation.org.au.
