Win continues Natimuk momentum

Natimuk United secured its third consecutive win on Saturday, defeating Taylors Lake in round seven of the Horsham District Football Netball League.

The final score was 12.10 82 to 9.15 69.

Playing at Dock Lake Recreation Reserve, Natimuk had a two-point lead at quarter-time before a 33-point second quarter saw the visitors extend their lead, going up 54-32.

Taylors Lake responded in the third quarter to reduce the lead to eight before Natimuk booted three goals to secure the win. 

Adam Coutts and Kaiden Sudholz were Natimuk's best players on the field, while Mitchell Crough and Ryan Gebert were the losing side's best performers. 

Natimuk’s Cody Frizon led all scorers with four goals, and Connor Healey led Taylors Lake with three. 

The win sees Natimuk rise to seventh on the ladder with three wins and three losses.

Taylors Lake are currently ninth with one win, one draw and five losses.
